The Grange ABC Boxing Club has been running successfully for six years in Station Road, Birchington. They were recently looking for new premises and M P Egan our local dentist, stepped up to be counted. He has rented the club the former Quin Tools, in Surrey Gardens, Birchington-on-Sea, previously a small factory premises. Steve Stevens and Terry Collins, who run the club, are ecstatic to have new premises. I spoke to Mick Geraghty who is Project Managing the site and he said "We are in need of a long list of equipment, tools and local trades people to assist, any help would be appreciated". " We are installing new toilets, showers and it will be completely re-wired, plumbed and decorated".
